Our programs empower adults and young people to overcome personal barriers that have led to their disengagement from education.
Our Learners include a range of young people and adults that may have additional learning needs, are at risk or have disengaged from education, are impacted by mental health and/or require a flexible arrangement to complete education.
Indie College offers a range of accredited courses that are designed to meet individual learning needs and support with reading, writing, numeracy, employability skills and goal setting.
All courses are deemed as full-time and can be started at any time.
Learners work alongside a Qualified Trainer and Assessor (Coach) with training sessions that are conducted one-on-one or in a small group setting.
There are a variety of ways Learners will be assessed during the course which include writing questions, discussions, participation in group activities, oral questions and discussions portfolios of evidence and completion of practical tasks.
